As a regional first, TachyHealth is proud to release its artificial intelligence medical imaging system, AiRay for #COVID19 to support radiologists and clinicians in finding the unique signs of the novel coronavirus in any chest computed tomography #CT image for FREE.
As a leading #AI healthcare startup, we wanted to contribute to the current pandemic and beyond. For the past 2 years, our team led by Ahmed Sahloul, PhD, PostDoc, have been working on the R&D of a very deep Convolutional Neural Network #CNN trained on 805 images of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 chest CT images to achieve a validated real-life accuracy of 88%, which we are improving on daily basis.
We're super keen to have a wider discussion with hospitals, radiologists, imaging centres, and universities about future collaboration, data sharing, R&D, and improvements.
